SATAN IS EXTREMELY CUNNING.....

Satan is extremely cunning.  Therefore, our knowledge alone will never be enough to keep us protected.  What you and I need is a watchman sitting guard on the walls of our mind.  Here's the good news: we have One who is willing and able - One who knows us completely and is thereby the perfect candidate to guard our minds.

Giving Him watchcare over our mind is serious business, because surrendering our thought lives to Him is not just a means to more consistent victory.  It's the safeguard against being given over to a depraved mind.  We can persist so long in our willful, wrong thinking that God can give us over to our desires.

RELAX IN MY HEALING PRESENCE.....

Relax in My healing Presence.  As you spend time with Me, your thoughts tend to jump ahead to today's plans and problems.  Bring your mind back to Me for refreshment and renewal.  Let the Light of My Presence soak into you, as you focus your thoughts on Me.  Thus I equip you to face whatever the day brings.  This sacrifice of time pleases Me and strengthens you.  Do not skimp on our time together.  Resist the clamour of tasks waiting to be done.  You have chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from you.
