Come, sit, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the comfort of the Lord: "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice." Ephesians 4:31
I Am with you. I Am with you. I Am with you. Heaven's bells continually peal with that promise of My Presence. Some people never hear those bells because their minds are earthbound and their hearts are closed to Me. Others hear the bells only once or twice in their lifetimes, in rare moments of seeking me above all else. My desire is that My "sheep" hear My voice continually, for I am the ever-present Shepherd.
Quietness is the classroom where you learn to hear My Voice. Beginners need a quiet place in order to still their minds. As you advance in this discipline, you gradually learn to carry the stillness with you wherever you go. When you step back into the mainstream of life, strain to hear those glorious bells: I Am with you. I Am with you. I Am with you.

What Makes You Unique?
Come, sit, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the comfort of the Lord: "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil thinking be put away from you, with all malice." Ephesians 4:31
What is your unique assignment in life? The Bible shows us how to answer that question. Galatians 6:4 reads “make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that” (MSG). Try starting with these two questions:
(1) With whom do you feel most fluent? You may be tongue-tied around children but eloquent with executives. This is how God designed you. Scripture reminds us that “God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well” (Romans 12:6 NLT).
(2) For whom do you feel most compassion? God doesn’t burden us equally. He fashions our hearts individually. When does your heart break and pulse race? When you spot the homeless? When you travel to the inner city?
Discover what makes you unique…and use your gifts for God.

True Friends
Come, sit, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the comfort of the Lord: "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice." Ephesians 4:31
"Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn." Romans 12:15
True friends have no solitary joys or sorrows. Both are shared. In the hour of peace and gladness, what is our want? Friendship. When our hearts overflow with gratitude, what is our need? A friend. When distress haunts us and misery walks by our side, where do we turn? To friends. Friends to share. Friends to bear.
